Tanknado Support
Need help? Email contactus@binaryhelix.dev. Tell us your device, the game version (bottom of the main menu, for example 1.0 (47)) and what happened. A screenshot helps.
Controls
- Keyboard and mouse: WASD drive, the mouse aims, click fires, the right button looks around, Shift zooms the sight, 1–3 pick the shell, R repairs, F fires a flare, N switches night vision and thermal. Press ? in game for the full list.
- Touch: the left side drives, the right side aims and fires. Settings > Touch controls changes the layout and the gestures.
Online play
- Quick Match puts you in a 5v5 battle; computer-controlled tanks fill empty seats.
- Dead Signal co-op: host a chapter, share the room code or invite link, or join a game from the list. If someone leaves, the computer takes their tank.
- Can't connect? Check your internet connection and update the game: players need the same version to play together.
Purchases
Dead Signal Act I, the tank battles and the academy are free. Acts II and III, Black Water and Whiteout, are one purchase. To restore it on a new device, open Dead Signal, tap any Act II chapter, then Restore Purchases. On tanknado.com, choose Restore and enter the restore code from your receipt email (or ask for a one-time link by email). Purchases on tanknado.com are covered by the terms of sale; refunds for app purchases go through the store you bought from.
Performance
Settings > Quality: Auto picks a level for your device. If the game stutters, choose Low or Potato. Settings > Reduced motion calms camera shake and menu animation.
Sound
Music, effects and crew voices have separate volume sliders in Settings. The crew swears; there is no profanity filter yet.
Progress and data
Your progress is saved on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing the browser's site data erases it. See the privacy policy for what the game sends and how to turn off anonymous stats.
